The accessible facilities onsite are for festival goers with permanent disabilities or impairments as stated in the Equality Act 2010. Broken legs, recent injuries or pregnancy do not qualify for the facilities.

Site Layout and Ground Conditions

Flashpoint Festival is located in the grounds of the beautiful Rockingham Castle.

The main arena and campsite are predominately flat grassy areas with no solid pathways however please be aware there can be natural divots in places. Please take the weather into consideration when planning what to bring as it can impact on mobility due to muddy patches.

Disabled Parking

There is disable parking available to blue badge holders, which is located closer to the arena entrance. This is free of charge and does not need to be pre-booked. It is however allocated on a first come first served basis.

Medical Facilities

Flashpoint will have experienced medical staff onsite to provide first aid, minor casualty and resuscitation.

Toilets

Accessible toilets will be located in the main concert arena and the quiet campsite.

Disabled Camping Area

The disable camping area is located in the quiet camping area, and accessible toilets will be available in this area. Please note; you cannot drive or park vehicles in any of the campsites, we are unable to offer electrical hook-up to tents, campervans or caravans.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance Dogs are permitted. A “recognised assistance dog” is one that has been specifically trained to assist a disabled person and which has been qualified by one of the charitable organisations as members of Assistance Dogs UK.

Strobe Lighting

Please note that some of the music performances may include strobe lighting.

PA 2 for 1 Ticket Scheme

We strive to make Flashpoint accessible to everyone and therefore we may provide disable ticket holders with 1 free ticket for a PA.

To obtain this complimentary PA ticket you will need to complete the application form below and provide supporting evidence of; higher rate DLA/PIP, Medical professional’s letter or D/deaf or blind registration. Please note this scheme only applies to standard tickets, not VIP or Glamping.

Applications

PA tickets must be pre-arranged by completing the application form in the link below. Applications must be made by 30th June 2018. There are a limited number of PA tickets allocated and once these have been issued, no further PA tickets will be available. Please do not book a PA ticket until the application has been processed as paid for tickets will NOT be refunded.

If you are bringing a disabled child or teen under 14, you will need to purchase a full priced ticket; our festival terms and conditions state “Children’s tickets are available free of charge for under 5’s and at a concessionary rate for under 14’s, but they must be accompanied by a full paying ticket-holder over the age of 18 at all times.”
